Sailing expedition
to Greenland
Iceberg-covered sea presented a challenge for the crew, that was used
to sailing in warm Mediterranean waters.
Nevertheless, the boat and the crew passed the gruelling test and
gained valuable experience. In the summer of 1995, Croatian Tern completed
an east-west transit through the Northwest Passage, only the fifth
boat ever to complete this dangerous journey in a single season.
