Open sand dunes in Great Sand Hills south of Sceptre
A large area of open sand dunes is located about 18 km south of the village of Sceptre (near Leader, Saskatchewan). Follow the signs to “Wildlife viewing area” and park in the designated parking area right next to a large complex of sand dunes. There are a few displays with information about rare plants and animals that live among the dunes.
