It is so nice to be able to sit down, pick up the papers and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee. I finished my last class and now catching up with a lot of things that were put on hold while I worked on school assignments. Here are a few images from the 2013 Winter Photography Workshop at the Ancient Spirals Retreat. The weather was great; just below freezing and hardly any wind. Lots of fresh snow with interesting patterns. As a bonus, the cloud cover cleared at the end of the day and we were able to photograph the fool moon raising behind a character windmill not far from the retreat....

SaskTel phone book cover – Moose Jaw

I am proud to announce that my images will grace cover pages of several regional editions of the 2013/2014 SaskTel phone book. The first in the series for this year will appear on the Moose Jaw and District phone book. It is an image of a grain elevator in Rockglen in southern Saskatchewan. The remaining regional phone books will be released throughout the year, as they go to production at different times. For over 75 years, the Canadian government has managed a large swath of community pastures across the Canadian Prairies, comprising of 929,000 hectares (2.3 million acres) of some of the largest unfragmented tracts of grasslands found anywhere in the world.
