If you are in the area, drop by and have a look.     Earlier this spring a  group of photography friends from Saskatoon got together, and we picked a selection of images that represents our varied interests.  Beside my two prints (Abstraction and Lodgepole Pines in Fog), you can admire artwork by Scott Prokop, Jay Scott, Steve Hiscock, Ian Preston, Bob Littlejohn and Bruce...

We captured the intricate details of budding trees, patterns & shapes in vegetation not yet hidden behind the leaf cover, and enjoyed the view of Saskatoon skyline across the South Saskatchewan River. Here are a few images captured during the photo walk. Many thanks to everyone for supporting the event, and to my friend Ian Preston...

Illustrated talk: Iceland – a Photographer’s Dream

I will be presenting an illustrated talk “Iceland – a Photographer’s Dream” for the Northern Image Photographers camera club on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 7 p.m. The presentation will be held at the Prince Albert Arts Centre, 1010 Central Avenue – the old opera house building in front of the City Hall in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In the summer of 2012, I joined a group of 14 photographers on a photo tour of Iceland. This island country in northern Atlantic is relatively small, but offers an amazing array of opportunities for landscape photography: vast glaciers with calving...
