If you are making international travel or major photography plans for this year, I would like to invite you to join me for a photography tour to Croatia this autumn. Tour dates and itinerary have been set for October 5-18, 2025.

This fourteen-day adventure is an exploration of natural splendour, culinary delights and rich history of one of the most beautiful and diverse natural and cultural areas of southern Europe. Renowned for its natural beauty and historical heritage, Croatia has gained popularity as an ultimate travel destination.

Join our group and roam the cobblestone streets cloaked in history, experience the “Mediterranean As It Once Was”. We will photograph majestic medieval castles, ancient Roman palaces, turquoise waters of Plitvice Lakes National Park and the “Pearl of the Adriatic” – the walled city of Dubrovnik.

I have changed the tour itinerary for this year: instead of visiting the Istria region in western Croatia, we will spend a few days in the eastern part – historic and picturesque Slavonia and Baranja. The landscapes and cuisine is very different from what you can encounter in other parts of the country. Be prepared: the food and wine are to die for.

Highlights of this part of the tour include a boat tour of the Kopacki Rit Nature Park, tour and wine tasting in Belje cellars, and a visit to the Lipizzaner stud farm. We will try to time our arrival to coincide with the release of a large herd into the pasture – a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness and photograph this spectacle.

While travelling along the coast, we will take a short ferry ride to visit the impressive walled town of Korcula, affectionately called “Little Dubrovnik”. A local tour guide will guide us to the birthplace of Marko Polo and share with us stories about the rich history and significance of this majestic place. In my personal view, Korcula is more exciting to visit compared to Dubrovnik, as your exploration is not hindered by hordes of tourists. On the way to Dubrovnik, we will make a short stop to check out the “Great Wall of Europe” in Ston.

A photography tour is not a dedicated ‘photo workshop’. The idea is to take participants to exceptional locations to explore and photograph at their own pace, and have a wonderful vacation experience. I was born and raised in Croatia, and know the culture, language, and local customs to enrich your journey. This is my seventh trip leading a group to Croatia; these photo tours have been very well received in the past.

Visit the Croatia Photo Tour registration page for registration and travel details, or the Photo Tour itinerary page to get an idea what we are going to see and experience.
