One of the buildings houses a beautiful interpretive centre with stories on history of the ranch and information about wildlife that can be found on the Northern Great Plains of southern Saskatchewan. Nature Conservancy of Canada is managing this 13,135 acre (5,316 hectare) property in effort to protect a piece of fragile mixed prairie grasslands. In 2003 NCC introduced a herd of plains bison on the property and animals can be often seen from road passing through the ranch.
