This images was taken along the walking trail in Opimihaw Creek valley. Patchy forest stands of balsam poplar, green ash, Manitoba maple, trembling aspen and birch offer a variety of colour when the season is right. The understory is also rich in diferse species, with choke cherry, rose, snowberry, and saskatoon berry leaves adding to the autumn palette.
