Image selection

If you need an image for comping / browsing format for layout purposes (150 ppi, medium compressed JPEG) – just download the low resolution image(s) that you are interested in. If you would like to request a print of a particular image, go to the Print orders page to learn more about ordering prints. Please record the image title, and if possible, where you saw it (or just save it to your desktop and attach to the  inquiry email).

A large, searchable image archive of high resolution digital images can be accessed through the Stock Photo Library collection. Majority of images posted on this web site will link directly to the relevant Stock Photo Library page, where you can see a larger version of the image or search for similar photos. After you find the image you would like to use for your project, please contact us with description of specific requirements and / or budget restrictions. We will be happy to discuss licensing options.

Image licensing fee

There are many factors that determine the image licensing fee: publication type (media in which the image will appear), size of reproduction (full page, 1/2 page, 1/4 page), position (cover page, inside), quantity of distribution (circulation, press run), and territory of distribution. Licensing fee quotation is usually given for a one-time, non-exclusive publication rights, unless you request otherwise. Please contact Branimir with description of your specific requirements. Discount may be granted for multiple use or large volume orders. I do not grant free licensing rights solely in exchange for credits or links.

Image resolution and delivery

We can provide you with high quality digital files up to 6,720 x 4,480 pixels. This translates to 22 x 15 inch output at 300 ppi (approximately 16 MB JPEG or 80 MB TIFF). If you need images for Web sites or multi-media presentations, digital files up to 1000 pixels at 72 ppi resolution will be adequate (up to 600 KB in file size).

Unless specified otherwise, images will be delivered electronically as maximum quality / minimum compression (Photoshop level 12) JPEG files in Adobe RGB colour space. TIFF files can be provided upon special request and sent on a CD / DVD or USB stick.
